According to the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 15 million Americans suffer from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, commonly known as COPD. COPD is a group of debilitating respiratory conditions, which include chronic bronchitis and emphysema. When it comes to COPD, prevalence increases with age.
