OOPS I was being clumsy the other day and basically dropped all of the pills in my prescription bottle onto the floor of a public restroom. Obviously, I am not going to take these (GROSS). Will I be able to get a free replacement at the pharmacy if I explain my situation? Or will I still have to pay for them?

I don’t think pharmacists will help you out without a refill authorization from your doctor. The pharmacist might could call your insurance and see if they’ll override and pay for a 2nd bottle, but if not you should be able to buy one for a cash price.

Contact your doctor and see if they will re-prescribe and whether they will work with you on the cost.

Take ’em anyway. I once dropped a heart pill in a public toilet. I’m still here as far as I can tell.
