Has anyone seen any of this in the news? It looks like new rules are allowing insurance companies to expand partnerships with service companies and add benefits to their insurance plans. It looks like Uber and Lyft might start offering discounts to people with Medicare insurance.
According to this article, Lyft has already partnered with Blue Cross Blue Shield to offer rides to and from pharmacies. This is neat!
I’ve been afraid of those Lyfts and Ubers but if BCBS trusts them, maybe I should give them the ol’ college try. Plus they can’t be a worse driver than my SON who has been taking me to the pharmacy, church, and the beauty parlor. Talk about a lead foot!
