Now that we have a new President elect in Donald Trump, many seniors are asking questions about the future of Medicare. During Trump’s campaign he promised to repeal Obamacare but was not very vocal on proposing cuts to Medicare or major changes to the program.
According to Mike DeBonis of The Washington Post, “House Speaker Paul D. Ryan said Thursday that Medicare has “serious problems” that would need to be addressed when Congress moves to repeal and replace President Obama’s health-care reform law — a signal that he is willing to immediately enter the treacherous politics of entitlement reform and perhaps break with President-elect Donald Trump.”
Ryan believes that Medicare is going broke and that there are some serious problems with the healthcare plan we have in place. Find out below if there are Medicare cuts coming in the near future.
