Political news

In political news, we featured President Trump’s latest attempt to lower drug prices by setting a fixed limit on pharmacy benefit manager rebates.

Also, the new Congress is holding hearings on expanding Social Security and Medicare

Enrollment and disenrollment opportunities

For those with Medicare Advantage, there is an enrollment period happening now until March 31 in which you can disenroll from your plan and choose a new Medicare Advantage plan or go back to Original Medicare. In addition, now until March 31 is the General Enrollment period for Medicare if you didn’t enroll during your Initial Enrollment Period when you turned 65.
